We only stayed one night. It was clean and quiet. The coffee setup was great. The breakfast looked good. The location is perfect for a biking trip since the Katy Trail passes through town right behind the hotel. Plenty of parking. I will definitely stay here again!
A surprising gem in old downtown St. Charles. Within walking distance of the shops in the downtown area. The hotel itself is beautiful inside and out and the rooms are clean and well appointed. Service was outstanding. Breakfast was pretty typical hotel fare.
Close to everything St Charles. Off street parking. Very clean, comfortable, VERY QUIET. Classy rooms at a discount stay price. Nice quite indoor SALTWATER pool. Free breakfast of eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, hot cereal, make your own waffles. Beautiful setting and just all round value. Highly recommend.
What a cool little hotel nestled at the end of the main historic street in St. Charles, Missouri, on the bank of (okay, very close to the bank of) the Missouri River and the old railroad walking trail. The hotel exceeded my expectations. It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. I stayed 2 nights. The best part was the EXCELLENT customer service delivered by Kay on the evening/night shift, and by Tiffany on the morning/afternoon shift. Wow, they knocked my flip flops off, especially Kay, who answered several questions and overdelivered on the info and assistance, including a room upgrade. Tiffany was on deck to accept an important fax (I know, strange in this digital age) and make sure it got to me promptly. I parked in the garage under the hotel - very easy. Restaurants were within a 10-minute walk. This little town even has an independent bookstore, which always makes me happy, and while I was there, at least 12 other people came through and browsed and bought books. What's not to love about this special place??
Nice hotel close to all of the action, with a good breakfast and lovely lobby area. But what really made this a slam dunk was Kay at the front desk. We had a few issues checking in, but Kay expertly maneuvered through them and helped us through it. She also gave great recommendations of places to visit in the area. We even had the pleasure of seeing her at one of those recommended places, and even though she was "off the clock", she still made it a point to speak to us, made sure we were doing alright, and that we were enjoying ourselves. Talk about above and beyond customer service...give this woman a raise! We love you, Kay!
