What a great place ! I’ve driven by it many times visiting Saint Louis . As often as we go to Vegas , had no desire to stop/ stay. I’m so glad we did . The casino didn’t bleed you dry. The standard rooms would be considered a junior sweet elsewhere. The 18th floor had an amazing view of the city and the beautiful pool ( that I wish I was prepared to use). Water nice and hot . Bed was fine . Walls didn’t seem thin the 2 nights we were there. It was a very user friendly set up. No wandering around to get to your room . No microwave and no hot food later in evening , but otherwise …. Three thumbs up if I had em .
Disappointing for the price! Resort fees without the resort amenities! The room was ok without a microwave or room service and a extremely basic cable package. The unadjustable shower head felt like needles stabbing you! Then doing elevator construction at the crack of dawn? Getting woke up at 8 in the morning hearing a masonry drill is ridiculous! If you want to have overpriced food it must be good. A sorry excuse for a Chicago dog was 12 bucks, the dried bun fell apart when I picked it up and the dog was like chewing on rubber! Breafast was 50 dollars and it was edible but no seasoning on the eggs and using corned beef for biscuits and gravy should be a crime! The Casino was great! Nice selection and payouts plus reasonably priced drinks! My advice for those taking a trip is get a room at one of the hotels right down the road and just hit the Casino! You'll pay half the price, get free breakfast and HBO. My advice to the company is drop the resort fees or give the resort experience!
This establishment offers a pleasant casino experience in a prime location, with abundant entertainment options nearby. 🎲 Guests can enjoy a splendid indoor and outdoor pool area, complemented by a relaxing hot tub. 🏊♀️ Unfortunately, the pool area hours are very limited. ⏳ The venue is situated in a vibrant part of the city, ensuring easy access to various attractions. 🏙️ The combination of gaming and leisure facilities makes it an attractive destination. ✨ It's a wonderful place to unwind and have a memorable time. 💖 Rooms are nice, however, the pictures online in my opinion make the bathtub look way larger than the one in our room. 🛁 Comfortable beds and pillows that allowed for amazing sleep after a long night in the casino. 😴 Several dinner options all located inside the hotel ranging from breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 🍽️ #Casino #Location #Entertainment #Pool #HotTub #Venue #City #Gaming #Leisure #Destination #Rooms #Bathtub #Beds #Pillows #Sleep #Dinner #Hotel
When looking into venues for our wedding, some of the things that drew us most to Ameristar were the beautiful sceneries and the wide range of entertainment/ food options that our guests would be able to take advantage of. From the beginning of us touring the venue, every single staff member was extremely helpful and responsive. We originally met with Samantha, and went on to work with Paige and Emily. Whenever we had questions they always responded very quickly to our emails ans did so very kindly! Unfortunately our ceremony had to move indoors due to severe weather, but the event Lawn is a beautiful area to hold your ceremony and/ or reception. While we didn’t get to have our ceremony outdoors, the staff was extremely accommodating in finding us an indoor location, which ended up being in their new conference center. We were able to use the Excellence Ballroom for our ceremony and the Imagination Ballroom for our reception. Both rooms were very spacious and matched our decorations/ theme very well. The wait staff, bartender, and other staff members at our reception were all so sweet and helpful and some even danced with us. They made sure everyone was well taken care of and communicated with people very well. We would highly recommend Ameristar to host your wedding.
Decent small town casino. Stopped here on a work trip. Bar tenders and front gate staff were great. Very few gaming tables open on a weekday, high minimums for blackjack (25$), garbage slot machines. Basically what I expected from a small town casino, free parking is nice but minimums on tables were way too high for a casino that has basically nothing else to offer. ~$25 minimum bet on roulette is wild for a place that doesn’t even have a restaraunt open.
