This is a great hotel and casino, right on the river. The rooms are large and upscale, very nicely designed. Service is always exceptional. There's always parking, even for semi-trucks with trailers. There are many food options. And this place is packed nicely with slot machines and live tables, but it's not crammed, and still feels spacious and relaxing. Definitely a great place to stay if you're in the St. Louis/St. Charles area.
We had a 2Queen Suite. The room was nice. Thermostat/Temp control glcould be better. It always felt like the air was on regardless of how high we set it. Room could have been cleaned better...there were dust layers and trash items in the couch. We had a refrigerator, but not a microwave. Got charged a 'resort' fee but couldn't get a massage and the pool was closed. No one came to remove dirty towels/make the beds during our second day. For the cost of the room, I don't think it was worth it, but we did have a good time. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful.
We came to St. Louis to attend a special event at the Ameristar Hotel. I always check reviews before booking any hotel. So I wasn't quite sure what we would get upon arrival. Let me just say if I could give 10's across the board, I would. From the time we arrived. Everyone was so kind.The interaction at the front desk, the employees in passing, the people in general. Ameristar has exceeded my expectations. We had a wonderful time, and the beds are amazing. At least ours was. If I should ever return to St. Louis. I would definitely choose Ameristar Hotel again. Thank you, Ameristar!❤️
Lost my little bit I allow myself to bet. Should have tried my favorite, BLACK JACK, usually win if I am losing on machines. Tables were all full. The new usual $5 minimum! ( I remember playing $1 a hand at Circus Circus) I can usually do well on 21. Employees were nice, place was clean, after a Sunday night. Avoid Horshoes if you are visiting, or go to South County casino, my favorite, sorry everyone!
Me and my wife enjoy staying and play at Ameristar it is a first class casino resort! It’s the only resort style casino in our area and by far is the best kept casino in the Midwest. The pay outs seem to be much better than most casino in the area as well. If your looking for fun in a safe clean and resort environment this is the place!
