This is a very clean & comfortable hotel. Easy assess to the Katy Trail rail trail & walkable to historical St Charles shops & restaurants. What really makes it stand out is the staff, all very personable & helpful. Tiffany on the night shift was delightful, even at 6am (end of her shift) Jessica, GM was super friendly, Beverly at breakfast works so hard to make sure everyone has a pleasant morning experience and Marsha in the evening does a phenomenal job of juggling incoming guests, coffee requests & cookies. Overall top notch experience.
Absolutely loved our stay! Great location that was nice and quiet, and is within walking distance from the historic district. We also enjoyed our breakfast each morning. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to St. Louis.
Rooms have plenty of room for wheelchairs. Easy to access the historical part of town from the hotel. I did enjoy the fact that if you want your room serviced, you have to ask. They don't assume you want it done, and it adds to a more private experience.
employee at this facility made an extra charge to my card without my knowledge and blamed it on another person. I paid for my room for 2 days with a Macy's Amex cc through Priceline and They paid Country Inn and Suites AT Radisson Saint Charles for my 2 day stay. I decided to extend my stay and used my other card and paid for another night. Because it was pending but was approved and sufficient funds was on my card but employee Veronica charged my card again and without my knowledge nor authorization and tried to blame it on another employee! THEY DEAL WITH CREDIT CARDS as the Only form of payment! IN addition, They had me to pay for another night WITH THE SAME CREDIT on which the employee fraudulently CHARGED plus paid another incidental, which I did get refunded along with the one! I told the General Manager about it the next morning but then The General Manager JESSICA called the Police on me for trying to report the fraudulent charge TO her. WHEN THE POLICE ARRIVED, I WAS REFERRED TO AS "THIS PERSON" AND NOT TREATED AS A CUSTOMER AND was escorted by the Saint Charles Officers out the building BUT DID HELP ME WITH MY CLOTHING 😃. It was my FIRST visit TO THE AREA AND I WAS THERE IN SAINT CHARLES checking on a SERIOUSLY INJURED family member that was in the hospital near that Country Inn & Suites in Saint Charles Not in St. Peters! THIS TRAGEDY OCCURRED IN 2025! JUST WEEKS AGO! I ARRIVED on Saturday, February 8 late but called ahead and talked to the front desk. I spent 2 nights already and was going to stay a week SO THAT I COULD ASSIST MY ILL FAMILY MEMBER THAT HAD BECOME PARALYZED AND WAS NOT SURE THEY WOULD MAKE IT! ...They Lost opportunities TO STAY LONGER.. I FELT EMBARRASSED AND HUMILIATED AND I AM A first-time customer. through me....family members were also planning to stay once they arrived. In addition, SOMEONE HAD BLOCKED OUT ALL AVAILABLE ROOMS TO KEEP ME FROM EXTENDING MY STAY Prior to me reporting the fraud charge! AND, WHEN I LOOKED again the 6 rooms were marked available. All this was done because I am of African American. sad! 😥 😔 sad 😥 😢 😞 😔 😪 💔 😥 I did file a fraud report with the card company and the Police Officers that arrived did record it. I showed ALL card statements and the proof of the overcharge! They told me to contact them for camera proof! And, I was removed and I still had 2 hours left on my room that I am STILL owed for but the Police Officer did give me info for a Inn that his family 👪 really think is beautiful so I could continue to enjoy! I did leave town and lost time to be with my ill family member that is STILL BEING TREATED IN THE HOSPITAL. MY FAMILY MEMBER HAD TO BE PLACED IN ICU AFTER I LEFT...family was very disappointed that I had to go. My presence at the hospital had been helping so much with their recovery. Although I am disabled and was I need of some additional sleep so I could be wide awake for the day I was unjustly removed from hotel! I WAS DISTRAUGHT ABOUT ALL OF THIS INJUSTICE TO ME TIME WITH PEOPLE WE CARE ABOUT IS SO PRECIOUS AND THIS WAS TAKEN FROM ME AND MY FAMILY MEMBER THAT WAS SICK ANS UNDER SERIOUS CLOSE WATCH AND LOVE. Thank God Protection and service! God moves on behalf of His child!
Start by saying less than a mile away is the Ameristar Hotel, Drury Inn and Embassy Suites. These are all nice quality hotels. The only one more expensive is the Ameristar. We paid $540 for Friday and Sat evening. We walk in our room and the first thing we noticed was a chair that looked like it had a huge urine stained cushion. There was also an empty soda bottle under the cushion. The air conditioning was out and it’s 86 outside. Our frig also won’t keep our cold drinks cold. Toilet seat was almost coming off it was so loose. Nothing impressive but we stayed the night anyways thinking we’d worry about it in the am. Switched rooms to the 3rd floor. You can’t get there by the lobby stairs because they only go to 2. You have to take a rickety elevator that didn’t work for me 2 times at all. There are a set of stairs that go to 3 but it’s at the far north end and our room is on the south. Long walk carrying bags and a fan. Fan because air is out. Toilet seat loose in this one too but I tightened it with my car key. Real hard upkeep. Air finally came on but the road noise wakes us up at 3 am. Not being able to fall back asleep we leave Sunday am at 4am. Nobody at the desk so there’s nobody to complain to. Lucky for them. If you want a nice reliable hotel with a better breakfast stay at the Drury inn. An Uber 2 times to downtown st Charles would be cheaper than the extra cost of staying here. If you want a nicer room with a breakfast made to order for a cheaper price go to Embassy suites. Honestly this hotel is overpriced by about 25% and I wish I was exaggerating. If you get stuck in our first room the stay is worth about 50% of the cost if you can live with the piss stained chair.
